About

Rosalind-Herrington-Moxon

Hi, I’m Rosalind Herrington-Moxon. I am a veteran, a military spouse, a mother, and a licensed mental health counselor associate as well as a licensed marriage and family therapist associate. I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Saint Martin’s University and completed my counseling internship at Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM). I earned my undergraduate degree from Faith International University and Seminary.

I was a medical assistant in California for ten years before I was called to serve in the military. I am a combat veteran of the U.S. Army, where I worked to preserve the lives of my fellow soldiers. This experience honed my passion for helping others deal with trauma. I continue to serve active-duty soldiers as well as veterans as a volunteer at JBLM.

I am a woman of faith and have no issues being spiritually present with my clients. Prayer has a place in emotional healing. That being said, I am respectful of all belief systems and will happily serve clients who prefer not to bring spirituality into their treatment.
